Sunshine Award

I'm so happy that I have been nominated for sunshine awarded by my dear sister Purba Chakraborty. I want to thank you so much purba di. This is actually my second sunshine award which is equally important as first one which I got last year. Thank you for thinking that i'm eligible for this award. Feel so blessed.

For those new to my blog and dear friends Purba Chakraborty is author of two best selling novels "Walking in Streets of Love and Destiny","The Hidden Letters" content writer, blogs at "Love Laugh and Reflect",a person with good heart whom you can look up to and learn so much. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies. So as per the sunshine award rules Purba di has few interesting questions for me which i'd like to answer.

1. When did you join the blogging world? Did any incident/person inspire you to do so?

             I started blogging in March 2014. Earlier I used to read blogs but din't think of writing. Preeti shenoy is one author who got me into reading books and blogs. Her books had some kind of magic so does blog. I  followed blog by Preeti on daily basis which introduced me to few more bloggers Gayatri,Jayanth. Would like to thank them as they encouraged me. I fell in love with world of blogging. This inspired me to write. 

2. What is the best lesson that Life has taught you, till now?

            Best lesson hmm let me think , till now Life has taught me to be strong no matter how much failure you get to face.  Live in present without thinking about past. Let go of people who don't care about you, hold on to people who love you.Live life with no regrets and most important keep smiling.

3. What is the role that blogging plays in your life?

          Blogging does play a major role in my life. It has made me grow as a better person. Learnt so much from blogs I follow. I don't blog much but I read more. But when I write I write from heart. Its difficult to maintain blog with studies. That's the area I need to work on.

4. If you had a time machine, would you prefer revisiting your past or visiting your future? Why?

         If I had a time machine I would like to go back and read more books! I can't think other than novels these days. 

5. Which is your all time favorite book that you can never get tired of reading?

        All time favorite series is Harry Potter series ! if its just one book I must name then "Diary of Young girl" by Anne Frank

6. Do you believe in letting go or holding on?

        Yep I do believe. As I mentioned earlier Life did teach me.This reminds me song "Holding on Letting Go" which is among my fav's.

7. Share a hilarious incident of your life.

          I don't know if its hilarious or not but this thing comes to my mind first. These days I get to hear lot of compliments for my smile. But back when I was kid whenever I used to stand in front of camera and told to smile I used to do a sad face. Only in rare cases I would smile. Especially if its a studio picture I never smiled ! I found it hilarious when I checked album.Maybe you will get an idea if I show the pics and here it is

8. What are your thoughts about my blog?

        "Love Laugh and Reflect" is one blog which is on top of my list. I have read so many blogs but this is one blogs so close to me that I never miss any post. I have got it bookmarked on tab that I can see it daily. With every post there is something that I can learn.  I feel so blessed and lucky. It is so inspiring.
